At the beginning of the Pandemic in 2020, Australia Post proactively identified the need to increase the local parcel delivery service due to the changes in consumer behaviours resulting in an increasing demand in parcel delivery service.

A significant piece to ensuring a successful delivery of this project was for Australia Post to up-skill their traditional ‘Postie on a bike’ to enable them to drive a van. Australia Post released their largest ever single Fleet Tender and as a result, 2,774 additional vans were required.

Autosafe teamed up with SG Fleet, Australia Post & various OEMs to ensure a seamless execution of the contract which was completed ahead of schedule.

Autosafe were successful in securing the van fit out requirement which included designing, prototyping, delivering and installing 2,774 Cargo Barriers, Van Floors, Wall Protection & safety handles.
